How to delete a contact on Skype
Have you fallen out with a friend and would like to have nothing more to do with him? Have you had nothing to say to an acquaintance for a while? Or is your Skype contact list just too full of people you never contact anyway? There are many different reasons to delete a contact – here’s how it works:
Open Skype: normally, when you open it, you’ll see your contact list directly. However, if this is not the case, you probably clicked on another menu item by mistake. In this case you should now select “My contacts” in the upper center of the window, directly under your personal status information.
Now comes the point where you have to decide which contact you actually want to delete. Simply click on this contact with the right mouse button. A menu will open, in which the option “Remove from contact list” can be seen relatively far down. After clicking, you will be asked to confirm your choice. Select “Remove” here and you have already deleted the contact that bothers you!
In addition, you can also delete several contacts at the same time. To do this, do not click on the individual contacts to be deleted with the right mouse button, but with the left one first and then, while holding down the Ctrl key, all the others one after the other. Now click again with the right mouse button on your selection and proceed as described above.
